How it works
Site Visit
Get quote from Solar Smart Australia. Submit your Power Bill & switchboard photos to our Consultant. We’ll Apply for your solar pre-approval with the electricity network distributor, this takes 1-28 business days. Special approval may take up to 65 business days. We’ll submit your application and quote to Solar Victoria for your rebates if eligible.
Complete Paperwork
You will receive an invitation correspondence from Solar Victoria to fulfill your portion of the application and submit the necessary documentation within the specified timeframe. Kindly ensure prompt completion. Should you have any inquiries regarding the application process, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
Federal & State Approval
On approval of rebate application from Solar Victoria and distributor and pre-approval result, please sign and return given quotation/contract, pay deposit under contract, if any.
Pre Installation Check
Our installation booking team will contact you to arrange a suitable date & time for an installation as per target date set in contract.
Installation & Commissioning:
Our CEC accredited Install team will install solar system at your property on scheduled date. If any changes on schedule due to circumstances change, both parties will communicate each other.
Safety Checks
On completion of installation, you will sign all relevant documents digitally or manually and return it immediately to the installer on installation day. Balance to Be Paid: You must pay the due balance, if any payable after approved Solar Victoria rebate and loan has been approved) and deposited
Retailer & Documentation Sign Off
Installer will lodge and organize an independent safety inspector to inspect installation from Energy Safe of Victoria. This may take up to 28 business days or more if in a regional areas. During inspection, inspector will ensures the system is safe and has met the regulation standards. You will then be provided with a Certificate of Electrical Safety(CES) to the installer who will submit it to us..
